The article talks about a moon buggy,
The Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) or lunar rover was a type of surface exploration rover used on the Moon during the Apollo program. It is also known by its popular nickname of moon buggy. Three of the Apollo missions brought LRVs to the Moon.
The rover is estimated at $2 million and its top speed is 15 miles an hour. This model took a year to build. The lunar rover is very important because it will help us know more about the planets in our solar system. There were rovers before the chariot but this rover is new and improved. It is a long flatbed with six sets of double tires, each set independently steered. At one end is the driver’s seat — actually, a rotating turret with a computer screen and a joystick — along with a host of cameras, lights and sensors that would let the rover be driven by remote control, or even to make its way along the barren plains of the moon or Mars with a degree of autonomy. The astronaut driver would snap himself or herself into the turret — it’s designed fit a space suit. This new rover will be able to give us twice as much information about our solar system.

Think of the clock faces on the Trinity Church steeple at the head of Wall Street. Or the sidewalk clock in front of the Sherry-Netherland. Or the digital clock on the Midtown office tower formerly known as MONY. Sponsored time is an enduring tradition, and one that is clearly making its way into the 21st century. The new bus stop shelters will be able to show time, temperature and have sponsers.Without bus stops, there would be chaos on the route with people wanting to get on and off at any old place. The bus stop is as important to a well organized system as the buses. After all, if you do not know where the bus is supposed to stop, how are you going to ride the system.
Bus stops have added a temporary shelter to the stop. Normally improvements are done by the transit district, but in some cases they are done by individuals or private companies.

The 15-year-old boy was sent to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he is in critical condition. His condition was said to be improving. Some students said the victim, whose name was not disclosed, sometimes wore makeup and feminine jewelry and had declared himself gay. They said he was frequently taunted by other boys and had been involved in an argument with the alleged shooter, an eighth-grader who also was not named, and others Monday. During the lunchtime argument, one of the boys shouted at Tuesday’s victim, “You better watch your back,” said one student who witnessed the encounter. Keith said investigators had also heard that the victim was gay but did not know whether that was true or whether it figured in the attack.
There has been lots of school shootings recently such as Virgina Tech, and Seton Hall. There has to be a reason why these shooting occur and what drive students to this point. Reasons why these shooting happen can be from discrimination, and one major reason, bullying. Schools can reduce violence at school by paying close attention to individual students, helping them with certain problems they have, and increase the safety and security of the student. Doing this can help stop violence at school that result in school shooting so that students can learn and have an good education.
